One of the major points that Microsoft wants the technology experts, developers and gamers to obtain from its presentation was the significance of gaming and how its latest Windows Phone 8 will make it easier for games played on PCs to become a part of mobile phones.
Executives of Microsoft made an announcement that the new mobile operating system will utilize a native platform for game development with DirectX as its basis. They also demonstrated how it will have the same core as the Windows 8 operating system of a PC during its arrival in the fall.

According to the explanation of Wilson Rothman, this will mean that the internal platform of the phone will look a lot like a Windows PC so that they can share networking, common file formats, IT management tools, security protocols and apps.
All this implies that developers do not have to put a lot of time in rewriting codes because it can quickly transfer games from PC to Windows mobile phones.
Autodesk and Havok Technology are the middleware partners of Microsoft that will support Windows Phone 8. Andrew Bowell of Havok explained that the Havok Technology Suite were used in developing the games of the new mobile OS and it will feature real 3D worlds, cinematic visuals and very realistic characters.
Microsoft is trying so hard to attract additional developers to the platform of its smartphone which is very understandable because the available apps of its current Windows Phone 7 are significantly behind Google’s Android and Apple’s iOS platforms.
However, Kevin Gallo of Microsoft said that amazing games will become a part of the Windows Phone 8.
